Today Atlus released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei IV. The latest entry in the long-running Japanese RPG franchise is a 3DS exclusive and is set to release in North America on July 16th. As Atlus does have an excellent habit of doing for their bigger releases, pre-ordering will get you some extra special swag on release day in the form of a Limited Edition Box Set at no extra cost. It comes with a 176-page Strategy & Design Book produced by Prima Games, a Shin Megami Tensei Music Collection CD, and a “Collectible” Slipcase.
Now I’m not one to put much stock in pre-order bonuses that take the form of free day-1-DLC downloads that have no business not just being in the game from the start, but I can always get behind free physical bonuses and swag. Either way, check out the trailer and get hyped or confused. It is Shin Megami Tensei after all.
