Early this year and last saw some very special crossovers happen. Batman met the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the Green Lantern Corps met the (movie) crew of the Enterprise. Now, both crossovers are happening again, with one taking a TV twist.
Batman/TMNT adventures will feature the Batman: The Animated Series character meeting the current TMNT crew from the popular Nickelodeon series.
Then, Star Trek and Green Lantern will again crossover, with the promise of more beings from both universes showing up.
“The previous ‘Star Trek/Green Lantern’ and ‘Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ crossovers were a huge hit with fans of each of the characters,” Hank Kanalz, DC’s senior vice president of Editorial Strategy and Administration, said in a statement. “Bringing these characters back again, and expanding Batman and the Turtles to the realm where they’re most recognized by comic fans and fans of the TV series will make for a great story that any fan can’t wait to read.”
