Rumors Hint at Marvel vs. Capcom 4
Some rumors have recently picked up steam recently, stemming from a forum post on NeoGAF suggesting that a certain fighting game could become a reality. That fighting game is Marvel vs. Capcom 4. According to the forum post, an announcement on the rumored game could be made as soon as next week at the 2016 PlayStation Experience.
Whether this is true or not is anyone’s guess, so the news should be taken with the grain of salt. The forum post by user Ryce reads, “I wasn’t going to share this, but enough beating around the bush: a few other GAFers and myself were told about a Marvel vs. Capcom 4 announcement at PSX. I didn’t think it would happen for all of the obvious reasons, but there you go. We’ll know for certain in eight days.”
The last Marvel vs. Capcom game was Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, which was first released in early 2011. The game was eventually re-released later that year as Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 with an expanded character roster. Previously, producer and developer of Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Ryota Niitsuma, wrote the following message regarding the game last September.
PlayStation Experience 2016 is set for December 3-4 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
Thanks for keeping the love for the game going! I would love to make #mvc4, but nothing's happening on that front. RT @PG_Erdogan @JWonggg N
