Ruction: The Golden Tablet Lands On Steam Greenlight
Ruction: The Golden Tablet, an open world adventure game currently being developed by one man development team Ruction Games, has made its way onto Steam Greenlight, receiving many positive comments as of this writing, with one commenter saying:
“It looks like it could be a fun adventure game. Are the graphics, special effects or animations the best? No. Does it matter? Not to me. I get the feeling that this is a one person operation here and I respect that. Clearly, a lot of work and a lot of care went into making this.”
Ruction: The Golden Tablet also received a new trailer alongside the release, which you can see below.
Describing the storyline of the game, developers Ruction Games have said:
“In an open world environment, embark on an adventure looking for clues that lead to your lost brother, and along the way discover the mystery of the golden tablet. You will find your brother by accepting tasks from natives, and in return for doing these tasks you will be rewarded with information about where your brother could be. While you pursue your objectives, you will explore the world, climb vines, hang upside down as you cling to roots across hundred foot drops, figure out what you should do next and strategise to stay alive.”
Ruction: The Golden Tablet is set to have a number of different features upon its release, such as:
- Open World
- Objective tasks
- Hidden treasures
- Climbable objects: vines, ladders, rocks etc.
- Explore a completely custom land
- Rescue your brother from the environment
- Track your objectives and discover new areas
- Acquire & present passwords to access secret areas
- A personal favorite, blow a few things up along the way
