RPG Stories VTT Returns to Kickstarter With Infinite Worlds Expansion, Already Funded Past First Stretch Goal

Brave Alice Games is back on Kickstarter with the third campaign for its 3D virtual tabletop, RPG Stories VTT. This time they’re funding their expansion called Infinite Worlds. The crowdfunding campaign launched with a main goal of $9,991 and pledged past it almost immediately, sitting at over $28,000 USD as of May 15 and clearing the first $20,000 stretch goal. Fans and newcomers have a chance to back Infinite Worlds through this Kickstarter until June 2, 2026.

The base tool, RPG Stories VTT, is available on Steam. It launched out of Brave Alice’s first Kickstarter, which funded at 315% in 2022. We’ve seen Brave Alice Games not only fund, but deliver on their campaign promises for two campaigns now. So, how does Infinite Worlds build on the core 3D VTT?

What’s New in Infinite Worlds

The expansion adds:

  • 50+ new auto-build brushes covering fantasy, modern, and sci-fi scenes, with sub-rooms and themed areas designed for outdoor environments, dungeon interiors, and fast NPC/monster placement. The current Auto-Build set has 16 brushes.
  • A “create your own brush” tool, the same one Brave Alice’s developers use internally, so users can build and edit auto-build templates and share them through Steam Workshop.
  • Open any rulesets website inside the VTT: paste a URL and play with the rules tab live alongside the map. Saved links persist to the player’s RPG Stories Library between sessions.
  • Uploads for user-created 3D models, character sheets, PDFs, online documents, and audio files. Audio files can be placed in the 3D space and attached to specific locations or objects, with playback fading in as characters (or the camera) move closer.
  • Steam Workshop sharing for everything created with the new tools.

The pitch frames the campaign as community-driven, with the new upload tools aimed at growing user-generated content. The project also describes itself as the first 3D VTT designed for tabletop RPGs beyond D&D.

Stretch Goals

The first stretch is already unlocked. The remaining tiers are:

  • $30,000, Condition Animations and new Camera Modes, including attack animations, D&D condition animations, and a first-person camera.
  • $40,000, a Pathfinding System for 3D characters and monsters, ending the current walk-through-walls behavior.
  • $50,000, Terrain and Landscapes, with library terrains plus user-uploaded hide maps for non-flat worlds.
  • $60,000, 1,000 new 3D models across sci-fi, modern, fantasy, and 1920s settings, including buildings, objects, characters, and monsters.

The unlocked $20,000 tier adds Advanced Objects Customization, including renaming models, changing texture colors and material, and attaching documents to objects.

Pledge Tiers

Tier prices are in GBP, with Kickstarter’s USD equivalents alongside. The entry tier is £19 (about $26) for the Infinite Worlds DLC alone, aimed at current RPG Stories owners. New users start at £39 (about $52) for the main version plus the expansion. Mid-tier options bundle the DLC with content packs £40 (about $54), Designer VIP co-development access £68 (about $91) with only 9 of 15 slots left, and the Unlock Player Seats deluxe bundle £71 (about $95), which includes the main version for new users. A £101 (about $135) Full Experience tier rolls in every prior DLC.

Add-ons include a $4 “Your Name in our Credits” mention, a £4 (about $6) Premium UI (Kickstarter exclusive), a £9 (about $12) Map Vault of 50+ fantasy battle maps, £9 (about $12) Battle Map Modular Tiles (210+ tiles, Kickstarter exclusive, created by community member Lokinumbra), a $23 PDFs Bundle of Brave Alice’s prior D&D-related books, a £25 (about $34) All Content Pack covering Brave Alice’s eight prior model DLCs, £35 (about $47) Unlock Player Seats for unlimited player invites via the free demo, and a £49 (about $66) Designer VIP tier (Kickstarter exclusive). All rewards are digital.

The Team and Policy Notes

Brave Alice Games is a UK company based in London. The credited team for RPG Stories VTT is lead developer Sotiris Gyftopoulos, QA William Risser, community management Antigoni Roumelioti, and director Agis Angelomatis. The studio’s broader output includes 3D-printing STLs and tabletop content alongside the VTT.

The campaign page includes an explicit “Free From AI” statement from the team: “Brave Alice Games & RPG Stories Team never uses AI. You can tell from the typos you already spotted in this story page. Everything we do is created by humans.” On delivery track record, the Risks section cites the team’s prior campaigns as having funded and delivered on time, with the only stated risk being health issues or unforeseen events.

You can follow Brave Alice Games on YouTube, Discord, Facebook, Instagram, and X. Full campaign details and pledge options are at the RPG Stories VTT – Infinite Worlds Kickstarter page.

The Guest caught my interest because of the priest character. Choi Yoon's background really touched me. Seeing someone lose their family and then grow up to fight the same evil that destroyed his life was powerful. I think the show balanced emotional scenes with intense moments well. It also made me think about faith and fear in a new way. I wouldn’t recommend it to someone who scares easily, but if you want something with depth, this is worth watching.

I like mystery and crime, but the supernatural stuff made it too intense. Some scenes were really disturbing. I had to pause several times. The characters were interesting, and the story was strong, but the horror elements were just not for me. I think people who enjoy scary stories will like it more. I did finish the series, but I wouldn't watch it again.

I think The Guest is one of the most thoughtful Korean dramas I've seen in a long time. It isn’t just about ghosts or exorcisms. It also talks about trauma, guilt, and human pain. The way Yoon Hwa-Pyung, Choi Yoon, and Kang Kil-Young come together is not only exciting, but also meaningful. They are all broken in different ways, but they find strength by working as a team. That message really stayed with me. Even though the story is dark, I think the hope it shows is very real. I would rate it higher than 8.7 honestly.

What I really liked about this drama is how grounded the characters feel, even when supernatural things are happening. The detective, Kang Kil-Young, was my favorite. She doesn’t believe in spirits at first, and I think I would react like her too. She slowly changes and becomes open to things she cannot explain. That growth felt real to me. Also, the way the evil spirit Park Il-Do spreads fear reminded me of how real-life trauma affects people long after something bad happens.

I liked all of the main actors so I watched it. The actress was in “The King: Eternal Monarch” and her character was totally different. She's a good actress.
