The Guest caught my interest because of the priest character. Choi Yoon's background really touched me. Seeing someone lose their family and then grow up to fight the same evil that destroyed his life was powerful. I think the show balanced emotional scenes with intense moments well. It also made me think about faith and fear in a new way. I wouldn’t recommend it to someone who scares easily, but if you want something with depth, this is worth watching.

I like mystery and crime, but the supernatural stuff made it too intense. Some scenes were really disturbing. I had to pause several times. The characters were interesting, and the story was strong, but the horror elements were just not for me. I think people who enjoy scary stories will like it more. I did finish the series, but I wouldn't watch it again.

I think The Guest is one of the most thoughtful Korean dramas I've seen in a long time. It isn’t just about ghosts or exorcisms. It also talks about trauma, guilt, and human pain. The way Yoon Hwa-Pyung, Choi Yoon, and Kang Kil-Young come together is not only exciting, but also meaningful. They are all broken in different ways, but they find strength by working as a team. That message really stayed with me. Even though the story is dark, I think the hope it shows is very real. I would rate it higher than 8.7 honestly.

What I really liked about this drama is how grounded the characters feel, even when supernatural things are happening. The detective, Kang Kil-Young, was my favorite. She doesn’t believe in spirits at first, and I think I would react like her too. She slowly changes and becomes open to things she cannot explain. That growth felt real to me. Also, the way the evil spirit Park Il-Do spreads fear reminded me of how real-life trauma affects people long after something bad happens.

I liked all of the main actors so I watched it. The actress was in “The King: Eternal Monarch” and her character was totally different. She's a good actress.
