Rogue Trooper is set to make its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC is a brand new remastered form this year. The new game, dubbed Rogue Trooper Redux, has no definite release date other than “coming soon” but the studio behind it have released a new trailer.
Rogue Trooper was originally released in 2006. The third-person shooter was a rather faithful adaptation of characters and stories from the comic series 2000 AD and was the developers second title based on that IP. While it received a significant amount of praise for its flexibility and plot, it only managed to get mixed reviews from most media outlets.
It saw players take on the role of a bio-engineered soldier who was able to travel on the surface of a deadly battlefield as he was immune to the toxic fumes that covered it all while attempting to get revenge on the new colonial regime that had taken control.
