Rocket League: Batmobile DLC Announced

Psyonix and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have officially announced this week that Rocket League fans are getting a special threat this week. Starting next month, fans will be able to use the Batmobile in Rocket League. The Batmobile will be based on the vehicle from the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film, and it will be available on March 8. You can check out the Batmobile DLC trailer for Rocket League in the player below.

The Batmobile has been re-created for the game to mirror Batman’s ride in the new film. The new Car Pack will also include three exclusive Antenna Flags enabling players to show their allegiance to World’s Finest trinity: Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.

This is definitely a good move by Warner Bros. to capitalize on the popularity of Rocket League and get a little cross-promotion in for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Rocket League has a community of about 11 million players strong, so it’s a good form of promoting an upcoming movie.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Car Pack DLC will be priced at $1.99 and will be available on Tuesday, March 8. It will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC via Steam.
