I love this concept. It feels personal. I’m 45, and sometimes I really do feel left behind by modern life. Not because I don’t agree with equalityβ€”I absolutely doβ€”but because I don’t always understand how to act or speak without offending. If this show can speak honestly about that confusion without pretending everything was better in the past, I’ll be watching. Also, I’ve seen Sermonti in Boris. He’s got great timing.

I don’t know. I think the idea of β€œmanly men learning to adapt” is old news. It’s 2025. People have been talking about gender roles and equality for years now. If this show only focuses on how β€œhard” it is for men, it misses the point. Equality should be normal, not something to joke about. If the comedy is thoughtful, I’ll give it a chance. But I hope it doesn’t punch down.

This looks fun. I don’t need it to be super deep. Four Italian guys stuck in their old ways, being awkward in modern times? I’ll watch that. If it’s anything like Boris or even Romanzo Criminale in style, it might have smart writing under the surface. Sometimes people learn through laughter. I’m not expecting it to solve social issues, but if it gets people thinking, that’s enough.

As someone who works in education, I often see how media affects young people’s ideas about gender. If Real Men handles this theme with respect and humor, it could have a good impact. It sounds like these characters are confronting their past beliefs and trying to move forward. That’s real growth. Also, I’m happy Netflix is distributing Italian storiesβ€”it helps global viewers understand different cultural perspectives on gender.

I’m curious about the Vatican City scenes. That’s not a place most comedies explore. I wonder if there will be any satire involving the Church or just visual backdrop. Montanari playing a character called Riccardo makes me think he might be the more serious one, and that balance could help the show avoid being just loud and silly. Italian humor can be thoughtful when it wants to.

This seems like a personal show for the creators. Four men in their forties dealing with social change feels like something they’re probably living through themselves. That might help it avoid being too preachy or too defensive. I want to see how the script treats the female characters too. Are they just there to challenge the men, or do they have their own arcs? That’s the real test.

I watched the trailer. It seems very loud and awkward, but maybe that’s the point. These guys are being forced to deal with feelings they’ve ignored for decades. Honestly, I know a few men like this in real life. They’re confused, sometimes angry, sometimes just scared. If this show captures that without making fun of people trying to grow, I’ll respect it.
