We are less than two weeks away from the release of Steven Spielberg‘s next film, Ready Player One. As such, the movie has been getting a lot of trailers and teasers for what players can expect from it. The final one (presumably) is labeled “The Dreamer”, and it speaks to both the main character, Willie Watt, as well as a key character in the story of the film itself.
For those who don’t know, Ready Player One is set in a world where Earth has suffered an energy crisis, and because of that, people can’t go from where they live. As such, cities and buildings are stacked upon one another. The only escape is via a virtual world called the Oasis. There, you can be anything you want, or anyone you want. But, when the creator of the Oasis dies, he lies a final “Easter Egg” for people to find. If they find it, they get control of the Oasis, and a lot of money.
This sets many things in motion, including for our main character, who begins to solve the clues left by the creator. It’s going to be a very interesting journey full of heart and nostalgia, and you’ll definitely want to check it out on March 29th.
