Soon after Sony announced that a PS3 firmware will be coming this week; it was launched on the same day of the announcement. o here it is firmware 4.0 and the new changes.
This update is mandatory if you want to still continue using PlayStation Network.
These are the changes that are included into this firmware update:
Main Features Revised in System Software Version 4.0
Support has been added to integrate with the PlayStation Vita system:
- Receive messages sent using the Group Messaging feature of the PS Vita system
- Share content from Ps3 and PS Vita Systems
- Back up various types of files saved on a PS Vita system
UK English has been added as a system language.
If you set [System Language] to [English (united Kingdom)], you can play games with UK English language support in British English. You can adjust the [System Language] setting under [Settings] > [System Settings].
