Pokemon X and Pokemon Y gets announced
Nintendo just dropped the ball this morning, looking back at the history of the our beloved Pokemon series, only to reveal a new years surprise for fans.
Ever since the 3Ds’s release many Pokemon fans, including myself where eagerly awaiting the news of a main 3D Pokemon game, well folk’s “Pokemon X and Pokemon Y” was officially announced this morning! The games are due for a worldwide release October 2013, which includes Japan, North America, and Europe on the same month!
The game will be fully 3D and cell shaded, with a dynamic 3rd-person viewpoint as opposed to the over head look that the series is known for. This is a major change in the Pokemon scene, and one that’s very well welcomed.
Like “Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2”, the game will feature many new, and old Pokemon alike. With three new starter’s available the grass monkey “Chespin”, fire beast “Fennekin”, and the water toad “Froakie”.

Day 1 buy. 10/10 gonna buy another 3Ds to play with my girlfriend. I hope they add some exploration to the new 3D world and maybe even take some tiny hints from Zelda in that department.

Pokemon is my all time favorite RPG, and I doubt that will ever change. Even if other games are better, and I love them for it, this is “the big one”, as they say. Definite Buy for both versions. I hate GTS, you can’t trade for stuff you haven’t seen. And I’ll be able to pause out and access the pokedex pro, yeah?
