American fans of One-Punch Man can finally own the show on home video. VIZ Media revealed this week that the hit show’s first season is now available on Blu-ray as a Limited Edition Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack. You can check out a new unboxing video from VIZ Media for the release in the player below. Plus, you can also see all the content available from the set pictures above.
The new combo pack features premium packaging, plus tons of extra content. The extras include six One-Punch Man OVA shorts that are exclusive to the Blu-ray release, collectible art cards, a booklet on the show, and more. Fans who would prefer some other options can pick up show for Standard Blu-ray and Standard DVD editions as well.
Fans who are new to the series can now check out the entire first season on Blu-ray before checking out the second season, which is set to debut later this year. The series is based on the hit manga series and web comic, originally created by the artist ONE. One-Punch Man follows the exploits of the young man Saitama. Saitama has become a hero for fun, but after years of training, he’s become so strong that he beats all of his opponents with just one punch. As a result, it’s hard for him to have fun and find challenging opponents.
VIZ Media also confirmed a special scavenger hunt for the show in Los Angeles, California. Fans will be available to see 15 billboards with the heroes and villains of One-Punch Man throughout the city. Fans who enter the scavenger hunt can win special prices.
