NYCC 2017: Bill & Ted 3 Does Have A Script, No Studio Though
Bill & Ted are arguably some of the most iconic characters ever created. Period. If you don’t believe me, check out all the memes of them saying “Be Excellent To Each Other”, or even their Epic Rap Battle of History. Either way, fans have enjoyed two movies, comics, and even an album featuring the duo. And yet, fans were hoping for a third film, and it has been rumored for a LONG time. And at New York Comic Con, we got some new details on it.
Keanu Reeves himself (Ted) was at New York Comic Con and noted that the film does have a script, and even a title, but no studio attached to it yet:
“It’s called Bill & Ted Face the Music. We’re just trying to get it made,” Reeves said. “Show business is tough. It’s a cautionary tale.”
So, what’s the film to be about if it’s made? Well, apparently it’s about that fact that Bill & Ted still haven’t wrote the song they were supposed to write in order to save the world. And because they’re older now, and have families, they’re forced to “face the music”.
Fans will no doubt cross their fingers that this happens.
