Nicolas Cage’s lore in Dead by Daylight is so Meta

Nicolas Cage will finally be available as a Survivor  in Dead By Daylight this coming July 28.  I am not sure if I can call his perks viable but all of his perks in the game are mostly for meme purposes. His perks Dramaturgy, Scene Partner and Plot Twist. See him in action in this PTB gameplay. Poor killer players having to deal with an Army of Nic Cages:

From what I read about them, they are teachable perks I will not use for my Survivor mains. I am more of a stealth gen rusher Survivor and Nicolas Cage is for Survivor players who loves trolling killers. Just like the movie The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Nicolas Cage plays  the meme version of himself. He lend Behaviour Interactive his voice and likeness. One thing I notice is he talks a lot, as in Killers can easily detect him because he is so talkative. He is the noisiest Survivor in the game since Ash Williams and  Jane Romero. So Unless you love being chased  by the killer,  Nicolas Cage is not for you if you are a stealth Survivor.

Nicolas Cage’s Official trailer

Remember the Chapter 17 of Dead By Daylight? The Descend Beyondis the chapter that introduce us to Felix and the Killer  Blight? It is not mentioned whether he is playing Felix or the Blight but base from his age, I think he was suppose to play the role of the villain in the script. His agent told him to not accept this project but he didn’t listen and even said he will do it for free. That is how much he likes the script.

Nicolas Cage is suppose to be filming  a movie adaptation of that. The moment he read the script of the Descend Beyond he knows he wanted to this project. The filming was done in a cave.
Nick meticulously performed his dialogue, effortlessly reciting a dark incantation.

Nick put symbols on a stone altar with red ink and felt really involved in his acting. But then he saw the walls of the temple glowing, just like the symbols he painted. At first, he thought it was a special effect that would be added later. But when he went closer and touched the glowing wall, he got scared because real black fog appeared and wrapped around his arm. He started doubting if what was happening was real or just a joke by his colleagues. But when he looked around, he realized they were gone and he was all alone with the black fog coming closer. He couldn’t believe it was real and kept thinking it was just part of the movie.

Yes Nicolas Cage thought he is still filming a movie until he realize everything happening is not on the script. I wonder how Felix felt that Nicolas Cage’s acting talent is utilized to make a movie about his life.

Oh boy, wouldn't it be a scream if Nicolas Cage's costumes from his movies became DLC skins in Dead by Daylight? Just imagine survivors running around dressed as Cage's characters from "Mandy","Con air","City of Angels" or "The Wicker Man"! It would be a true horror extravaganza. I can already hear the survivors yelling, "Not the bees!" as they try to escape the killer. They should have added a "Cage Rage" perk where survivors unleash their inner Nic Cage and go full-on crazy mode

It's truly heartwarming to learn that Nicolas Cage decided to be a part of Dead by Daylight not just for himself, but for his son who happens to be a huge fan of the game. Talk about being a cool dad! I can just imagine the excitement and joy on his son's face when he found out that his dad would be a playable character in one of his favorite games. He also accepted this because he is a huge fan of Sadako and loves the Ringu movies.

It would be absolutely fantastic to see more celebrities agreeing to be part of Dead by Daylight, either as characters they've portrayed onscreen or as themselves.

They should totally do a livestream of Nicolas Cage playing Dead by Daylight! It would be super fun to watch him play the game and see his funny reactions. Fans would love it! Come on, Behavior Interactive, make it a reality! We want to see Nicolas Cage in action!

Nicolas Cage's perks in Dead by Daylight are an absolute blast! Sure, they may not be the most useful in a serious gameplay strategy, but who cares? I'm all about trolling those killers and having a good laugh while they try to chase me down. It's like a game within a game, and I can't resist the temptation to mess with their heads. So, here's to all the fellow mischief-makers out there, let's have a riotous time making those killers question their sanity while we escape with a mischievous grin on our faces.

As a killer player, I simply cannot wait to get my hands on Nicolas Cage in Dead by Daylight. The thought of hunting down and murdering an award winning actor gives wicked smile to my face.

The Entity cannot stand up to Nicolas Cage. Nic breaks the rules and speaks his mind while every other survivor is limited to groans and cries. When he tells his personal survival story this style, it seems as though he is speaking directly to the audience. Who needs to remain silent when you can attack your would-be assailant with a barrage of words, after all? It demonstrates Nic's magnetic personality and commanding presence. Even if Nicolas Cage is unaware that he is not in a movie, he is bringing his A-game and is not holding back, so The Entity had better watch out.
