Yesterday Nintendo revealed the small model of the New Nintendo 3DS would make its North American debut with the Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer bundle. Today the company announced there would also be a new model of the bigger version, the XL. It’ll be yet another Zelda-themed model, the Hyrule Edition, marked with the Hyrulian Crest commonly seen on Zelda’s outfits.
This New 3DS XL will be released alongside the newest multiplayer Zelda game, Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes, and will be a Gamestop exclusive. Tri-Force Heroes comes out October 23 and the New 3DS model comes out October 30.
If the kind of Zelda-themed New 3DS you wanted had Majora’s Mask on the cover, there’s good news: the average eBay price of that particular model has gone down since its peak earlier this year, and you should be able to get one for $250 (this is in contrast to when they were auctioning for twice that amount or more).
The Hyrule Edition New 3DS XL will cost $199.99. Look for it at Gamestop October 30, 2015.
