The Emmy award-winning team and studio behind the hit series, Robot Chicken, have created a new original, stop-motion animated series that will soon premiere on Crackle next month. That show, SuperMansion, features a superhero theme, and Crackle and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios have released a new trailer for the show, which you can check out below.
The new series features an all-star cast, which includes Bryan Cranston, Seth Green, Keegan-Michael Key, Jillian Bell, and Chris Pine. Cranston actually serves as executive producer for the show alongside Green, John Harvatine, Eric Towner and James Degus. Matthew Senreich and Zeb Wells of Robot Chicken fame created the show and serve as the writes and producers.
The show follows Titanium Rex, leader of The League of Freedom, a motley band of super heroes are struggling to remain relevant in a world that is over-saturated with superheroes. Titanium Rex fights alongside the Millenial-aged, often lackadaisical members of The League of Freedom as they battle arch-enemies and more. The show definitely appears to be an irreverent, satiric take on the superhero drama, and there is nothing wrong with that.
The first three episodes of the series premiere on October 8 and will run weekly through December 17 on Crackle.
