New Game Announcement: Supremacy: Warhammer 40,000

Twin Harbour Interactive has announced a new entry in its free-to-play strategy series, Supremacy. This entry will be set in the grimdark future of Warhammer 40,000. Developed in partnership with Games Workshop, the mobile and PC title transports players to the 42nd millennium, where iconic factions wage war across a war-torn planet.

Supremacy is Twin Harbour Interactive’s ongoing real-time strategy series, focused on large-scale multiplayer warfare with persistent worlds and player-driven politics. It emphasizes strategic resource management, long-term alliances, and territorial dominance across massive maps.

Why Warhammer 40,000 and Supremacy Make a Natural Match

With the steady rise of Warhammer 40,000’s popularity, it isn’t shocking to see a new game on the horizon. The series is no stranger to the strategy genre, given that Warhammer 40,000 is a strategic war-game. Supremacy and Warhammer 40,000 meeting was practically inevitable.

Warhammer 40,000 is a long-running tabletop miniature war game developed by Games Workshop, set in a dystopian sci-fi universe where militarized factions battle across a war-torn galaxy. The franchise has since expanded into novels, video games, and TV projects and is known for its deep lore, gothic aesthetic, and brutal tone.

Taking place within the 42nd millennium, you take command of a pre-existing faction in the universe. You must lead your forces in a widespread war across the planet against other players. Stake your claim over the planet, and show the other players the error of their existence.

Key Gameplay Features

  • Wield the Power of Formidable Forces: Lead unyielding Space Marines (elite, genetically enhanced super-soldiers of the Imperium), vast regiments of the Astra Militarum (human military forces backed by tanks and artillery), corrupted Chaos Space Marines (twisted traitors corrupted by dark gods), or rampaging Ork warbands. (brutal, green-skinned aliens who live for endless war) Each faction (and respective subfactions) brings a distinct presence and unique gameplay to the battlefield.
  • An Experience Rooted in the Iconic Warhammer 40,000 Setting: Explore the arid planet of Vigilus, where rival factions meet on the battlefield in a conflict that shapes the future of the Nachmund Gauntlet. Every decision you make echoes through the deep history of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
  • Wage War Against Other Players Worldwide in Real-Time: Choose between 30-player or 64-player maps, where every decision shapes a multiplayer conflict that unfolds over several weeks.
  • Lead Massive Armies in a War for Control of the Entire Planet: Make high-level strategic decisions that shape the economy, military production, territorial control, and diplomacy with other players, this is not about skirmishes, but commanding the full scope of a global conflict.

So far, the game’s release date has not yet been announced. However, players interested can pre-register for the release on the Apple Store and Google Play. In addition, the game is optimized to play on PC as well. So ready your bolters, and keep an eye out for new info on Supremacy: Warhammer 40,000!

Super hyped that Dune: Prophecy is getting another season. Didn't expect it considering The Penguin is still up in the air, but 15 million viewers for the first episode? That's gotta be a good sign. Really digging the whole prequel thing, learning about the Bene Gesserit before Paul Atreides even showed up. Can't wait to see what kind of crazy stuff the Harkonnen sisters get into next season. Hopefully, they delve deeper into the spice harvesting and the whole political mess on Arrakis. Fingers crossed they stick to the core themes of the book even if it's not a complete copy.

Intriguing news about Dune: Prophecy. I haven't had a chance to jump in yet, but the concept of exploring the origins of such a powerful organization like the Bene Gesserit is fascinating, especially set so far back in the timeline. 10,000 years before Paul Atreides! That's a seriously long time. It'll be interesting to see how they portray the founding and evolution of this group that wielded such influence in the future. Maybe this season will delve into some of the philosophical and social aspects that shaped them.

Second season for Dune: Prophecy, huh? We've actually been watching it with the whole family (minus the little ones, of course). It's been a nice way to introduce them to the Dune universe without the intensity of the movies. Learning about the Bene Gesserit before they became this all-powerful group is pretty cool. My wife loves the strong female characters, especially the Harkonnen sisters. Hopefully, season two will have more action and adventure for the kids, but keep the political intrigue for the adults. It's a good balance!

A second season for Dune: Prophecy is certainly a vote of confidence from HBO. The cast is undeniably impressive, and the world-building seems solid. I appreciate the focus on a different aspect of the Dune universe, especially with such a long timeline to explore. However, I do hope season two tightens the narrative a bit. While the first season introduces some intriguing concepts, it lacks a certain urgency that keeps me glued to the screen. Let's see if they can develop a more compelling central conflict next time around.

Second season for Dune: Prophecy, let's go! Can't wait to see what the Harkonnen sisters get up to next. Hopefully, they unleash some serious chaos. Honestly, I'm way more into this than anything Star Wars has put out recently. Dune just feels… deeper, you know? The political stuff, the religious undertones, the whole ecological message – it's all way more interesting than space wizards and laser swords. Don't get me wrong, I liked Star Wars when I was a kid, but Dune is on a whole other level. It's like comparing a cheeseburger to a gourmet meal. Dune just kicks Star Wars' ass, plain and simple.

It's interesting to see how Dune: Prophecy is performing on Max. 15 million viewers for the first episode is a solid number in the streaming world. I'm curious about the metrics they're using to track viewership and engagement. Are they looking at completion rates, watch time, or other factors? It's a different landscape than traditional television, and it's fascinating to see how these shows build an audience. From a storytelling perspective, I hope the second season of Prophecy explores how technology influenced the development of the Bene Gesserit and their unique abilities.

Well, I remember reading the original Dune books when they first came out. It's quite something to see this universe continue to expand with shows like Dune: Prophecy. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I find the exploration of the Bene Gesserit's origins rather compelling. It adds depth to the overall story. While I appreciate the newer adaptations, I hope they don't stray too far from the core themes of Herbert's work: the dangers of unchecked power, the importance of ecology, and the complexities of human nature. I'll be watching the second season, hoping it does justice to the source material.

I'm definitely looking forward to another season of Dune: Prophecy. One thing that really stands out to me is the music. The score is fantastic and perfectly captures the atmosphere of the Dune universe. I'm hoping season two brings even more impressive musical themes and maybe explores some different musical styles to represent the various factions and cultures. Music is so important in setting the mood and enhancing the storytelling, and this show does it really well. I’m hoping they release the soundtrack soon.
