Monster Hunter: World

Monster Hunter: World Gets Extended Gameplay Video

Capcom and Sony PlayStation released a new extended gameplay video this week for Monster Hunter: World. You can check out the game featuring new gameplay footage in the player below.

The new video offers players a more in-depth look at the world of the game and how the quest will unfold as players embark on a journey to defeat a giant, new monster called Anjanath in the Ancient Forest. In the game, players take the role of a hunter who completes quests to hunt and slay monsters in a living and breathing eco-system full of predators and prey.

The video also features a look at some of the new creatures in the New World setting, a new continent discovered in the overall setting of the game. The new creatures include the Great Jagras, which can swallow its prey whole and a new monster called the Rathalos. New survival tools include the slinger and the Scoutfly to aid hunters. Hunters can use these tools to lure monsters into traps and even cause monsters to fight each other.

Monster Hunter: World is due out early next year. The game will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A Windows PC release is planned for a later date.
