Marvel’s First Infinity War Trailer Has Hit

This is the conflict the entire run of Marvel movies has been leading up to — all those hints about Infinity Stones and some blue-skinned tyrant from deep space are about to pay off! Behold the beginning of the Infinity War!

It’s got everyone: Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Black Panther, Vision and the Scarlet Witch, and some people at the end I’ll let you see for yourself. The plot is derived from the epic comic series The Infinity Gauntlet, where Thanos collects the space gems to fashion the titular item and turn himself into a god. It takes the might of the entire Marvel Universe to defeat him, and now we’re about to see it on the big screen.

The first time footage from Infinity War appeared, it was at San Diego Comic-Con, and weirdly Marvel didn’t release the footage from that showing online. You’d assume this would be the same content, but it’s not….a scene was described by those who witnessed it of Thanos picking up an entire planet and hurling it at our heroes. Suffice to say he grows significantly more powerful than what we see here.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War is coming out May 4, 2018.
