It looks like two classic Marvel games and an awesome Transformers game could receive some upgraded releases or at least some new ports for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. According to a report by Gematsu, it looks like some classic games for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 could eventually be released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.
It was discovered that trio of games was listed for the current-gen consoles by the Taiwan’s game ratings board. None of the games have been officially announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports, but this seems to be evidence that they are in the works. The report doesn’t indicate on when the games might be released, or if they will even be fully remastered, upgraded and enhanced over the original versions. Hopefully, that will be the case, and fans can enjoy those classic games with a fresh coat of paint, and all the bells and whistles.
If Transformers: Fall of Cybertron gets a re-release, hopefully the multiplayer servers are still going or will at least be restarted for the game’s re-release. Fall of Cybertron had a great multiplayer mode, which most of the DLC skins were built around.
Here’s a look back at Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 with a trailer for the game that was released way back in 2009.
