Katie Sackhoff Wants To Be Black Cat In MCU
We live in an age where superhero films are literally one of the biggest things around. They make a LOT of money, and in some cases, they make stars into bigger stars, or make people into stars, or give stars a chance at redemption via their roles and they get propelled to superstardom. But also, it gives actors and actresses the chance to be something (or someone) they’ve only dreamed about.
From the Rock wanting to be Black Adam (of which he will be in the Shazam! solo film at DC), to Ronda Rousey making a plea to be Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, many are throwing their hat into the ring. And now, actress Katie Sackhoff wants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Spider-Man frenemy, Black Cat.
In an interview, Sackhoff was asked about being Black Cat, to which she replied she would totally be up for it.
“Oh, 100% I’d do that!” she exclaimed to the magazine (via Cinema Blend). “I love playing characters who are multilayered and multidimensional and have a darkness to them, which makes them more realistic and more fun to play.”
Funnily enough, she was actually the voice of Black Cat in the video game Spider-Man: Edge of Time. We’ll have to see if this character, or Ms. Sackhoff arrive in the MCU at some point.
