Justice League 2 Script Already In The Works
We’re less than a month away from the highly anticipated arrival of the Justice League. The film will unite Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, Aquaman…and eventually Superman. Originally the Justice League film was supposed to be a two-parter (as that was the trend in Hollywood when it was announced). But, since that announcement, it was revealed that Justice League would be a full-on self-contained film.
We know that the villain for this film is Stepphenwolf, general of Darkseid, so that would lead many to suspect that the second film would feature the iconic DC Comics villain. We may not have to wait long to find out though, as according to J.K. Simmons, the next Justice League film is already being written:
“Well, Commissioner Gordon wears a trench coat in every scene, so I don’t know that the ‘pumped up’ part is going to be all that evident, especially when you’re standing next to Batman! But this is the first Justice League movie – we hope – of a few,” the actor explained to Total Film (via Cosmic News).
“They’re working on scripts for The Batman and for the next Justice League movie,” he revealed. “It introduces my incarnation of Commissioner Gordon. I don’t have a lot to do. I feel like I just dipped my toe in the water of who Commissioner Gordon will be.”
