Indie Rights movies is releasing their latest film, “Jean,” on VOD platforms this week.

Jean is a young girl living with her grandparents in the American Southwest. When Granddad wanders off one day into the woods, Jean has to set off and find him. The good news is she has her faithful dog to track down his scent. The bad news is everything else about the Arizona wilderness, including scorpions, rattlesnakes, and that tarantula crawling up her backside….eeeyikes!

Albert is a seasoned renegade with a heart of gold. With his memory beginning to fail and his wife wheelchair bound, his young granddaughter, Jean, has her hands more than full taking care of the couple. When Albert journeys into the desert, Jean must learn and grow over the course of her epic quest into the wilderness with her faithful canine. “Jean” is a miraculous adventure into the strength of the human spirit, and the power of love, courage, and faith.

“Jean” stars Lee Majors (‘’Ash vs. Evil Dead’’, ‘’The Six Million Dollar Man’’) as Albert, alongside Isabella Blake-Thomas (“Once Upon a Time”). The picture was directed by Shawn Welling, and comes from Gregory P. Wolk and Ruben Estremera’s Giant Meteor Films.

Check out “Jean” today on most video-on-demand platforms.
