My Hero Academia Game Announcement Trailer Released
My Hero One’s Justice trailer is released with many
details about the game.
In the anime community there has been a new titan in the Shonen genre in recent years called My Hero Academia. In many opinions the series is better than western comic book heroes. This year alone there is the third season of the show, a movie, and now an official fighting game.
For those that do not know about the series here is a small summary and history of the series. The manga of My Hero Academia was serialized on July 7th 2014 on Shonen Jump magazine, a weekly manga magazine. While the anime started on April 3rd 2016.
The story takes place in a world where people can be born with super powers that are called quirks. Examples of this include your standard flying, super strength, and invisibility. While others are more unique like having a sentient shadow, the abilities of a frog, and shooting lasers out of your bellybutton. The main character Izuku however has no quirk and we are shown how he becomes the greatest hero to live.
On April 13th 2018 an announcement trailer dropped for My Hero One’s Justice. A Naruto Ninja Storm/Dragonball Z Budokai style fighting game based on the now smash hit series.
The trailer shows off gameplay, characters, powers of the characters called Quirks, and features of the games. These features include destructible stages and a sidekick system. The characters shown are the main characters from the series with recurring ones. You can play both heroes and villains.
No exact release date has been announced other than the game will come out later this year for the Playstation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. Watch the announcement trailer below.
