Halo 5: New Video Featurettes Released
Later this year, Microsoft and 343 Industries will release the next main game in the Halo franchise with Halo 5: Guardians. Shortly after E3, 343 Industries released a series of behind-the-scenes video featurettes for the game showing the Road to E3. The new videos are available in the player below.
The 343 Industries staff was working diligently to prepare the Halo 5: Guardians reveal for E3 2015, hence the “Road to E3.” These include features such as the new multiplayer mode, Warzone. There is also a look at the development process for the game, including the motion capture stage.
“Halo 5: Guardians continues the story of the Master Chief, and introduces a brand new central character to the Halo universe – Spartan Locke (as seen in the liveaction series “Halo: Nightfall”). Peace is shattered when colony worlds are unexpectedly attacked. And when humanity’s greatest hero goes missing, Spartan Locke is tasked with hunting the Master Chief and solving a mystery that threatens the entire galaxy. Play as the Master Chief and Spartan Locke as the hunt plays out across three new worlds. Choose how to achieve objectives while playing solo with AI teammates or with friends in a 4-player cooperative experience. Also featuring new, massive-scale multiplayer mode that supports 24-player battles with both friendly and enemy AI dropping in. It’s nonstop action when you confront Spartans, Covenant, and Forerunners while trying to complete a variety of objectives.”
Halo 5 is due out for the Xbox One on October 27.
