GWENT was the playable card game in The Witcher 3 that eventually became popular enough to be turned into its own product. Enough people play GWENT now that it’s led to GWENT Masters, an official esports series dedicated solely to the game. This weekend the tournament continues with GWENT Open, broadcast live on Twitch.
Pro Ladder players will compete for Crown Points and a share of a prize pool worth $25,000. Finalists from these rounds will advance to the April GWENT Challenger, taking place deep underground in “Wieliczka” Salt Mine, Poland.
The whole thing will be streamed live on Twitch, and Twitch drops will be given out to those who watch: viewers can earn Card Kegs, participants’ favorite cards and other rewards by just watching GWENT Open. More information can be found at playgwent.com/twitch-drops.
You can find the full list of participants in this weekend’s GWENT Open here. It all begins tomorrow at 4 on Twitch.
