Gears of War 4: Multiplayer Trailer Released

Xbox continued to roll out some new material for Gears of War 4 this week with a new multiplayer trailer that was released. You can check out the new video, which features new gameplay footage of the game’s Versus Multiplayer mode, in the player below. The trailer features the song “Nobody Speak” by DJ Shadow and also featuring Run the Jewels.

The new trailer is promoting the upcoming Gears of War 4 Versus Multiplayer Beta, which is set to run next week. The beta test will be set for April 25-May 1 for Xbox Live Gold members. Players who take part in the Versus Multiplayer Beta will be able to unlock the Vintage Kait character after the game launches in October of this year. The trailer also showcases new maps, modes and executions for the multiplayer format.

An Xbox Live Gold membership is required to play the online multiplayer for Gears of War 4. Xbox will have the Gears of War 4 Versus Multiplayer mode on hand at the Xbox booth at PAX East. Xbox will also be streaming the “Out of the Shadows: Inside Gears of War Multiplayer with the Coalition” panel from PAX on Sunday at 10:30 am PDT on the Gears of War Twitch channel.
