GameChops has just released their new lo-fi relaxation album themed around the Legend of Zelda series, Zelda & Sleep 2. Yes, there was a Zelda & Sleep 1, but the second album is even bigger with over thirty legendary tracks from across the Zelda series.
The album is the creation of Super Piano 64, the collective name for brothers Nathan and Canaan Evans, who not only composed the first Zelda & Sleep but other albums like Poké & Sleep, Super Lofi 64 and Phoenix Down. The tracks rearrange compositions by Koji Kondo, Hajime Wakai, Kenta Nagata, Toru Minegishi, Mahito Yokota, and more.
“Zelda & Sleep consisted of our favorite tracks from Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, The Wind Waker, and Breath of the Wild,” says Super Piano 64. “For the sequel, we wanted to expand beyond those four games to get a fuller experience of the Zelda series as a whole with A Link to the Past, Link’s Awakening, The Minish Cap, Spirit Tracks, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword. Our goal for Zelda & Sleep has been to create the most beautiful, relaxing, nostalgic, sleep-inducing versions of these songs. We grew up with these tracks and love them to this day, so we hope Zelda & Sleep helps and blesses you as much as it has us.”
