Free League Announces League of Free Agents Program

You know by now that Free League Publishing manufactures many popular tabletop games like the Alien Roleplaying Game, The One Ring, and Mutant: Year Zero. If you’ve always wanted to work for Free League…well, you can’t. But you can get closer to them than most people by joining the Free Agents Program.

Announced today, the Free Agents Program connects gamemasters to the company and gives them the resources to hold official tournaments or events for Free League games. “Free Agent GMs can run games at conventions, as part of official Free League events or by creating events themselves,” says FL. “It can be physical conventions, online conventions, or games in other venues such as local game stores.”

Free Agent Gamemasters also get bonuses like an exclusive newsletter and an exclusive forum to discuss the information in said newsletter. It’s a direct line for Free League to empower its biggest fans. It won’t get your foot in the door of the company, but it is slightly more significant than a Burger King Kids Club membership.

Free Agents also receive one new convention scenario each year for most of FL’s RPG titles. These scenarios can be used to run the games at conventions. Seven will be available at launch, with more to come:

Vaesen – A Winter´s Tale
ALIEN RPG – Fallout
Ruins of Symbaroum – Blight Night
Symbaroum – Sleepless in the Mist
Coriolis – Tamir & The Palace of Dreams
Tales From the Loop – The Haunted House
Forbidden Lands – Shadows over Long Harbour

You can sign up to be a Free Agent through this page. More will be revealed later.
