Maybe he brought them out into the open to fight. Or maybe the Morlocks in the movies aren't exactly the same as their comic/animated counterparts.
Looks like the mutants are taking sides, like a continuation of X2, where Pyro joined Magneto. There're standing with either Xavier or Magneto, and the poor wittle humans are caught in the middle. :dance:
