witch ultraman should i watch

i gave away my ultraman DVD Cuz i found out it was a bootleg and savior den o if yer reading this im not mooging any good ultraman seasons i should watch

Series? Tiga. Dyna too. I watched 1 and 2 of Gaia, but I'm busy, so until translations arrive in a few months, I'll wait.

I started my journey into Henshin Hero tokusatsu because of Tiga. It's a great show. Dyna is not as popular, but it also is good. It has more comedy, but it gets serious when it gets serious. In fact, one of the greatest episodes I've ever seen in tokusatsu or in anything comes from Dyna. It most likely will be my first post of official translations because I like it so much.

It would be easier to go with the ones that are already fully subbed, such as Nexus and Mebius. It would also be great if you could get hold of the official Tiga sub (which seems to be quite rare these days)

i say ultraman, ultraseven, tiga, and max are easy to jump in.

That Ultraman set isn't really a bootleg, at least not in the strictest sense. The information regarding who got the rights from who is just very shady.

Anyway, try going for Moebius if you want something that is subbed completely. If you're patient and don't mind waiting for the next episode, try Ultraseven and Ultraman Max.

If anyone wants to get the BCI/Mill Creek Ultraman DVD set, hey, I'm not stopping them. I'm personally not getting it, though, due to my strong support for Tsuburaya.

Which brings me to the first show the first poster will want to check out: Ultraman. Try it, because it's the first I heard of, the first I saw (from a VHS bootleg I got from a convention in 1991, with the first 5 episodes)! It's the best place to start, English or Japanese. Then, work your way up with Ultra Seven, Return of Ultraman, etc. And along the way, check out Ultra Q, if you love daikaijuu eiga!
