Wireless Trouble aka Faded needs help.

Okay, can anyone give me an answer to this?

A few days ago we installed our new wireless router. Well, since then my connection has been WAY slower than normal. Videos and pages take ages to load, and sometimes not at all. Why?

I just tried disconnecting the wireless connection on my laptop, and connected it to the ethernet cord, and already it's working WAY faster.

My roomate's bf said the wireless card in our laptops might not be fast enough for our internet.

OK to solve this problem I'm gonna need more info.

First off what kind of router are you using? (Brand, Type, etc)

Second, what kind of wireless card are you using? (again Brand, Type, etc)

Third, what kind of internet connection are you using? (DSL, Cable, ISDN, Modem)

Fourth have you RTFM'ed?
