Why is there only one main Tokusatsu fansub group?

Here's an idea. Sub stuff that TVN doesn't sub or has already started subbing, and if you're so impatient about a series that TVN hasn't finished, sub the whole thing yourself instead of starting where TVN left off. Personally I wanna see a friggin V3 sub start up. Century Kings has KR Black, and TVN has no problem with that. Why can't people look at the whole picture.
Pwnoes, TVN yells at me for subbing something they'd already started. Wah! :bawling:

Get some patience and balls people. Or Tendou will bitch slap all of you.

Dude people will sub what ever they want to sub and there nothing you can say or do about it. THEY are the ones putting in the hours and hard work to make a sub. WHo cares if TvN already did it THERE CAN BE MORE THAN ONE VERSION OF A SUB. i mena **** look at animes there some times like 3 groups doing hte same anime. now theres not as many toku groups but they are putting in the work they pick what come out.

I'm just grateful for what TVN is doing. After all, they're doing this for FREE. Its not like TVN can force other groups to not sub at all like go drive by shooting or something like that.

Dude he's complain about people who start subbing a show mostly cause they are impatient on the pacing TV-N releases shows. Plus it's worsened by the fact that they don't bother to go back to the beginning and start from the beginning.

Yes Multiple groups do the same Anime, but they start from the beginning. Plus there are a LOT of Tokusastu shows that HAVN'T been subbed yet, would it hurt groups to try to sub one of those shows than getting another group jumping in on the middle of currently airing show?

True... Well, sometimes anime fansubbers don't sub from the beginning, but it's usually circumstantial. For example, when Death Note was licensed and Live Evil/ Toriyama World both dropped it, so other groups ended up picking it up. They merely wanted to be able to continue to share subs of the series with fans now, and it would be pointless to sub episodes they'd already seen, plus end up getting them all irritated and impatient.

KickHopper is right that other subbers should really be careful in their decisions, and more considerate. Obviously straight out plagiarism is just ridiculous, but subbing to try to get ahead of the main group that's subbing it without having already subbed it ends up pointlessly putting the original subbers in a negative light. Also, even if a group uses a different font or formatting, that doesn't always mean they're legitimate and not plagiarising; they could easilly be copying translations from TV-N. (Hardsubs help to cut down on this, but it wouldn't surprise me if people did it anyway).

Well personally I was subbing Geki because TVN left it alone for a few weeks, not even ep 1 was released yet, so I thought I might as well do it, then they release Boukenger last task, geki 1 and geki 2, which explains why they didn't release any Sentai for a while. I am considering subbing somethings TVN projects that are on hold, like Kuuga, or doing something no one else has subbed, like Megaranger, Timeranger, GoGoV, Zyuranger, Liveman, SD Rider, or Ultraman Taro, at least I think no one subbed Mega, Time, or GoGoV, I know TVN subbed Time vs GoGoV, I just don't know about the whole series. And about V3 subs, no one will do it really because they've already released a legit V3 non HK subs English box set for 160 bucks, and why by the Japanese no sub box set for around the same price, and spend your time subbing what has already been officially subbed, when you can just buy the official US box set for a little more and just rip those onto your computer.

But if you really want to see V3, their are some Bootleg subs on Veoh, which are almost correct, name changes mostly, I asked my friend, who is japanese, I showed her ep.1 and ep.2, she said its correct for the most part.

The biggest problem for most of us is obtaining RAW's, newer series its easier to obtain RAWs, but for older ones, you have to buy the box set. Well JSH has Mega Raws I believe, and I've seen RAWs of the entires series of Zyuranger and Liveman on Youtube. Well most of us just don't have the money to order these box sets online, I barely have enough money for 2 or 3 box sets, I just don't want to spend it
