Which Momotaros figure to get?

I'm torn between SH and SiC. SH has a cool Den-O figure with it, and is a nice redesign. The SH is also a slight redesign, but more show accurate, and is much cheaper. It's also probably more in scale given I have a Kiva SH already and am planning on getting Kabuo/Gatack.

I have a few figures I can display the SICs with, maybe. But they are awful pricey.

How good are the Den-O SH's I guess? The pack with Momo only has the Plat Form with it. See, I'm not actually that fond of the Den-O armours. I like the Rod Form and the Axe Form is OK. So the SIC appeals to me, because it makes the design much more like what I want from it. I'm not sure I'd bother getting a Sword Form SIC. I might get Zeronos instead(at least I'd have the Plat form with Momo).

Unless I am getting it confused with a differnent line I thought I read that they are stopping the SH figures from being made ... For that reason alone I'd go with the SIC because then you can have a display that matches if you decide to get more ...

& SIC already has most out & I'm sure the rest will come closer to the time the last movie hits ...

One thing I do wish SIC would do as well was include Show acurate armor or heads at the least or what not too... not like people would not mind paying a few bucks more to have the choice!

There's advantages to both. The S.H. one looks more like the show version, will cost less and the S.H. Den-O's are pretty good all around. It's in scale with your S.H. Kiva too.

S.I.C. Momo has more stuff (his sword, coffee) and even if you don't care about Sword Form, he can be converted into Plat Form as well, so Sword is almost sort of a bonus unto itself if you compare it with the other set. Momo also has a couple extra head parts to change his expression, but the head in general doesn't look as close to the real thing as the S.H. one.

I got 'em both. The Momo's are both pretty good, it all depends on how much you want to spend on the accessories and the accompanying Den-O figure. Also, the S.I.C one is newer and will probably be re-released as a classic some day, whereas S.H. figures tend to come and go and that's it.

There is no figuarts Momotaros, he was released with plat form as part of the normal Souchaku line.

Hmmmmm I would recommend the SH momo, even though I have yet to acqquire the SIC set, mainly since you mentioned the whole not being able to display it well with other figures, and after all the SH set will become more rare, heck I had a hard time finding it and this was just after the series ended, like igadevil said the SIC set is more likely to be re-released eventually, so even if you miss out on the SIC now, you can still get it in the future.

Does anyone have pics of the SiC set next to some other figures, preferably 6 inchers for scale purposes?

If I'm getting it for Momo, he may look okay looking large since he's a monster.

HEy are there any teeny tiny figs of Momo? I want one that's kind of the same size as D&D miniatures(about an inch or two).
