I'm looking for ways to introduce my younger siblings to classic animated films. I want to make sure they appreciate the artistry and storytelling of films like "The Lion King" or "Aladdin." What's a good starting point for them? Are there specific films or approaches that worked well for you when introducing younger audiences to this genre?

Introducing kids to classic animation is such a fun journey! Starting with "The Lion King" and "Aladdin" is a solid choice since they have memorable songs and strong characters that really resonate. I'd also recommend adding "Beauty and the Beast" to the mix; the animation is stunning and the story is timeless.

One approach I've found helpful is to watch the films together and pause at key moments to discuss the art style or why a character made a certain choice. Kids are often really perceptive and love engaging in that way. Also, don't overlook the joy of showing them behind-the-scenes features or sketches! It really highlights the artistry and effort that goes into these classics.

Have you thought about any particular films from the Disney Renaissance era? They have a lot of heart and could really capture their attention!
