What'cha think of Shurikenger?

If you've seen any of Hurricaneger, what's your feelings on your Japanese counterpart, the "ninja of ninja" Shurikenger?

We didn't really watch it - we were scared of it influencing us too much. We really wanted to create our characters ourselves. I should look it up now though... Any links?
