If you're looking for superhero shows on Disney+ beyond the MCU, there are a couple of solid picks to check out.
One standout is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which is technically part of the MCU but offers a different feel and explores themes like legacy and identity, focusing on Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. If you want something outside of the usual superhero fare, Spider-Man: The Animated Series is a bit of a classic. This 90s show captures a lot of what makes Spider-Man such a beloved character, with great storytelling and memorable villains.
For something a bit more obscure, try Big Hero 6: The Series. It expands on the characters from the Disney film and features fun adventures and character development, blending humor and heart. Additionally, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers isn’t a superhero show per se, but it has a lot of that team spirit and camaraderie that superhero fans often enjoy.
Finally, don’t overlook the animated Marvel series like X-Men: The Animated Series and The Spectacular Spider-Man. Both are well-loved and offer a nostalgic yet rich narrative experience.
These shows should give you a nice variety to explore that isn’t tied directly to the main MCU storylines!
