Wow I really like this video, its really making me anxious to see Watchmen! I like how they made the vid like a cheesy public service message. I hope the move deos'nt stray to far from the comics

It probably won't be in it at all to be honest. This is all part of the viral marketing campaign a lot of movies are doing recently. One in particular was for The Dark Knight where they made a New Bulletin Special about Gotham including interviews from the cast playing their characters.

Rorschach was originally meant to be the Question, but Moore wasn't allowed to use the old Charlton characters like he wanted.

Most notably:
Nite Owl = Blue Beetle
Doctor Manhatten = Captain Atom
etc.
