It's a big brother/little sister/sibling type relationship.

I agree. I mean yeah they play it up way too much and you could probably even fill in a blank that Amane has a crush on him but I don't think there's anything about the show that conveys Hajime looking at her in that kind of way.

The relationship is basically as FK said with the added thing that for Hajime, Amane and her Mom symbolize the things that draw him to humanity.

Besides, the show has enough problems in the writing without adding pedo' innuendo to the list.

And then, just a few episodes away from the finale, Inoue wastes time with those really bizarre episodes involving the main four trying to discover the Undead impersonating each of them by squirting fruit into each others eyes...what?

those episodes are awesome!! its when the four riders start to actually work together. its great.
