Want to Be Lovers? OK! Paris or Prague? Paris!

You know, watching 'Lovers in Paris,' I was firmly Team Soo-Hyeok. I just couldn't get on board with Han Gi-Ju. I know he's supposed to be the rich, charming lead, but... well, let's just say his looks weren't my cup of tea. Honestly, he reminded me a little of that 'serious cat' meme, with that intense stare. Soo-Hyeok, on the other hand, had that softer, more approachable vibe. I found him much more appealing. And besides, I always root for the second lead. I think it's because they are often more interesting. While everyone was swooning over Gi-Ju, I was hoping Tae-Young would see sense and choose Soo-Hyeok. I know, I know, I'm probably in the minority, but that's just how I felt. I can't help it. I have my preferences.

For me, the best part was the mature tone of the story. The characters felt more grounded, even with the romantic drama. I appreciated that they weren't just making impulsive decisions. I found the interactions between the characters very realistic. The whole 'break-up is a good thing' angle was interesting. It wasn't just about finding love, but also about finding yourself. I think that's what made it more than just a typical romance. I also think the soundtrack was very well done, it fits the mood perfectly.

Paris is on my dream travel bucket list, so I had to watch this.
