User accounts being hacked

To add to what JFC said, it might be a good idea to change your e-mail and password just as a precaution.

Already spent all last night changing every single password on every single account I have on the internet. Frankly it was exhausting, but it was something I've been meaning to do, even before I stupidly clicked on that link.

I was one of the people that got the message. What's even weirder is that the user in question has a banned tag on his user profile.

How recent was that, before or after the admins banned the account?

I got it a few days ago. I deleted it when I read it. I did not click the link because I know better.
