Yeah, but me listening to this depends on if you liked Equilibrium. If you're like others and thought it was trash, the opinion is null and void for me.
Sometimes I enjoy a film on a 9 year old slug fest level. Like if it reminds me of when I was a kid with plastic guns and swords and me an my friends would just wade through an army of evil.
From what I saw in Equilibrium, the director's got a slick knack for coming up with an excuse/backdrop for this kinda action.
If it's fun like Equilibrium, he's got my cash. I usually trust Harry Knowles... what's he got to say on this?

It's not,though. Equilibrium is way better. If you go in expecting it to be like that, you will come out disappointed. I mean, here in Chicago, they didn't offer a preview for the critics. That usually means it's going to be a crap movie. But hey, it's your $10. I know of something better to use it for, but if you want to waste it on an atrocious movie, be my guest. And if you come out disappointed, I WILL keep bring that up the next time I see you...which is in 2 months. The action is good...but the movie overall blows chunks.Keith "JC" Hayward said:

Keith, just remember, you're not going to see a plot. The plot's decent enough, and even moved me once, but you're really going to see a hot chick in leather kick all kinds of ass.

We'll see if I get around to it, but yeah... this is one of those follows I'd like to discover on my own.
I've seen what I felted were incredible movies that were dumped on far and wide. Van Helsing I thought was awesome, so I usually tend to just go on my own judgement.

It's not that hard. Instead of slinging and insult on "over estimating" someone's intelligence, you could state that maybe he misunderstood whatever to show some respect to the poster instead of proving your quick wit.
