Ultraman is having a Anniversry too?

Agreed. I like the Ultra Galaxy stuff, but in all honesty, most of it is just pure fan-wank.
I never thought I would say this, but I would actually like to see a new standalone show that has no connection with the Ultra Brothers.

Everyone loves cake, but if you get it everyday, you start getting tired of it. I enjoyed seeing the Ultra brothers return in Mebius, and I still regard "8 Ultra brothers" as one of the best Ultraman movies ever.
But after Ultra Galaxy, I have just grown really tired of them... I want a new and fresh story that focus more on characters than special effects.

I want something creative and original like Gaia and Nexus. Sometimes I feel that Ultraman has turned into a huge special effects stage-show, where most of the cast consists of suit actors

When Ultraman gets a new 49 episode series and a movie like so. I'll stop giving everyone in the fandom so much ****.

I'm more so interested in what they're going to do for UltraSeven's 45th next year.

That may seem fanboyish to ask...

But for his 25th he got, two years late, the 94 specials which lead into the 98 specials which lead into the 99 specials which finished just in time for his 35th in 2002, UltraSeven Evolution, and finally for his 40th he got a brand new TV show.

Meanwhile Ultraman....just sort of hands off his birthday to others.

Poor Ultraman.

I agree, No one favours Ultraman, They might as well forget he exists in the first place. Ultraseven is great ,the original Ultra warrior! Ultraman who?
Look!: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Pk1KQXS_Ks"]YouTube - ULTRA SEVEN Song : Live version ??????????????????????[/ame]
Ultraseven get an live performance! and Ultraman? is lying in a dusty closet somewhere. No one cares.

This year will probably be no different I guess. lol
Any way I'll go watch my dvd set to respect Ultraman ^^

It's a little different for Ultraman because his anniversary is the anniversary of Ultra Q and the entire goddamned series. No one's forgotten about him, it's just that the series as a whole entity is more important.

They've always had a major anniversary in the same year since each is only separated by five years from the last.

I know. Every five years it's Kamen Rider, Ultraman and, my favorite, Super Sentai's party. :castlerock: I love how they always have at least a little celebration for each of them and recently, with all the returning heroes in their respective series, it has been awesome.
