So I just finished watching Cosmos and was wondering if the commander person was that/is that Yuusuke Amamiya from Choju Sentai liveman? He is so familiar so I decided to ask,

I haven't watched Cosmos but according to IMDB, yes, the captain in that show is played by the same actor that played Red Falcon in Liveman.
