[J-MOVIE] Two Godzilla flicks

Okay, so our nearby blockbuster has 5 godzilla movies.
They are Godzilla Final Wars, Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S., Godzilla 2000, Godzilla vs. Gigan, and the american movie.
Having scene (and loved) Final Wars, 2000, and the american movie (I'm sorry, but I just like it) I was wondering id S.O.S. and Gigan were worth a rental.
So far I have loved every Godzilla movie thrown at me, but I thought I heard S.O.S. was really bad, and Gigan is very old so I'm not to sure If i"ll like it (not cause it looks old, but because G movies were diffenet then, in termes of storytelling.)
Anyone have any recommendations.

The main character in GODZILLA VS. GIGAN is a manga artist, so you might dig that -- the film is like a big, colorful, loud and garish manga.

GODZILLA: TOKYO S.O.S. is good, only if you've seen GODZILLA AGAINST MECHAGODZILLA first, since S.O.S. is a direct sequel. Therew are some great scenes, but the rescue at the ending took me out of the movie. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.

Gigan sounds awesome, thanks.
I havent seen Mechagodzilla yet (Though I have seen Terror of Mechagodzilla)
so i'll hold off on S.O.S.

There are different Mechagodzilla movies set in different universes, so don't get confused! There's GODZILLA VS. MECHAGODZILLA (1974) and the sequel TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA (1975). Then you have GODZILLA VS. MECHAGODZILLA II (1993), which is part of the Heisei seires. Finally, there's GODZILLA AGAINST MECHAGODZILLA (2002) and the sequel GODZILLA: TOKYO SOS (2003).
