TV Nihon Encodes Help

Ok, so I'm trying to burn Blade and Kabuto to DVD. Blade burned perfectly, but the Kabuto episodes end up with the audio about three seconds early. I'm burning it with iDVD on my mac. Quicktime on the mac plays Blade perfectly but Kabuto with no sound, don't know if that makes a difference.

I'd burn them on my PC with Nero, but for some reason it doesn't want to pull files off of my external hard drive (which my mac doesn't want to save to. There's lots of fun problems.).

I had that same problem. It's because of the splash image that TVN is putting at the beginning of the episodes. I don't remember if they did it w/ Blade, and if they did, it didn't mess anything up.

But when I put Hibiki, Kabuto, & now Den-O onto DVD, I have to edit the files frame by frame to take out the splash image to get t he audio on sync w/ the picture.

Ok, well that's gonna be a fun thing to do, but I'll figure it out.

Faiz, did you pop them into an editing program to take the pictures out, or could you do it through whatever burning program you used? (And if so, what program? I don't want to have to pop all of these into FCP and spend all night rendering them.)

I edited them using the encoding program that I use, before I re-encode the files to MPEG-2, so I can then author them to DVD & burn.
