Over the past few years Nightdive Studios has been remastering and re-releasing the N64 Turok trilogy on modern systems. The games were originally created by Iguana and released between 1997 and 2000 by Acclaim, a publisher that died a long time ago (the rights to Turok now belong with Universal Games). Turok was one of the most popular third-party franchises on the N64, especially the first game which came out during a drought of titles for the system. Turok was the only thing you COULD buy! The Turok remasters have gotten physical editions thanks to Limited Run Games, who is once again stepping up to finish off the trilogy with Turok 3. Several physical editions were made open for pre-order today on multiple systems: Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and XBox One. Turok 3 would prove to be controversial due to the fact that it kills off the original Turok — before you even start playing. He fell prey to an enemy between Turoks 2 and 3, so two members of

Man, Turok! That takes me back! Remember those graphics for the N64? Blew my mind back then. So glad they're remastering the trilogy for modern systems. Now I can relive that dinosaur-hunting glory without the blurry textures. Limited Run doing a physical release for Turok 3 is pretty sweet too. Might have to snag a copy, especially that Classic Edition with the metal cartridge replica.

Ooh, gotta get that Turok 3 physical copy before pre-orders close! Been waiting for this to complete my remastered N64 collection. Already snagged the first two from Limited Run, and that Classic Edition for Turok 3 looks amazing. Metal cartridge replica? Sign me up! Soundtrack on CD? Bonus! Sure, it's a bit pricey, but totally worth it for a collector like me. Now, if only they'd remaster some other classic N64 games... GoldenEye 007, anyone?

Turok 3 remaster, huh? Cool, but is it worth the full price tag for a remaster? I mean, I loved the original back in the day, but how much has it really aged? Maybe I'll wait for some reviews before diving in. Physical copy is tempting though, especially the Classic Edition. But hey, isn't the digital version cheaper? And who needs a metal cartridge replica these days? Still cool for collectors, I guess. Decisions, decisions... maybe I'll just replay the originals on an emulator.

Turok 3? Now that brings back memories! Remember that level with the giant, fire-breathing T-Rex in the lava pit? That thing scared the living daylights out of me as a kid! But man, was it satisfying to finally take it down. Wonder how that looks with the remastered graphics. Limited Run doing a physical release sounds pretty awesome too. Though, killing off the original Turok right away? Harsh! Maybe they should have stuck with him. The whole family legacy thing seems a bit forced. Still, gotta give them credit for trying something new. Might have to check out this remaster and see how it stacks up to the original.

Turok remasters are cool and all, but where's the sequel love? Don't get me wrong, blasting dinos on the N64 was a blast from the past, but I'm hungry for something new. The world of Turok has so much potential for fresh stories and enemy designs. Imagine a modern Turok sequel with next-gen graphics and a sprawling open world teeming with prehistoric beasts! Think about it: stalking raptors through lush jungles, battling colossal titans in volcanic wastelands, and unraveling ancient mysteries alongside a new Turok descendant.

The whole "family legacy" thing with Turok 3 felt like a missed opportunity. Give us a brand new protagonist to carve their own path in the Lost Land! They could even tie it back to the original somehow, maybe a descendant of the Fireseeds or something. The possibilities are endless! Come on, Nightdive Studios, you brought the remasters, now give us a taste of the future! Let's see a true Turok revival with a next-gen sequel that blows our minds!

Turok 3 remaster, eh? About time! The originals were groundbreaking for their time, but those N64 graphics haven't aged well. Nightdive Studios has a good track record with remasters, so I'm excited to see what they've done with Turok 3. Hopefully, they've kept the core gameplay intact while giving it a modern graphical overhaul. Curious to see how the dinosaurs and environments look with all the fancy new lighting and textures. Limited Run's Classic Edition sounds tempting, but honestly, I'm more interested in the actual gameplay experience. Might just grab the digital version and wait for some reviews before making a decision.

Turok 3 remaster? Here we go again with another nostalgia cash grab. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the original Turok games back in the day, but how much can you really improve a game like that? Sure, the graphics might look better, but will the gameplay still hold up? And killing off the original Turok right away? Talk about a slap in the face to fans! The whole family legacy thing sounds like a desperate attempt to keep the franchise going. Limited Run's physical editions are neat for collectors, but I'm not sure the Classic Edition is worth the price tag. Maybe I'll wait for a deeper discount on the digital version before giving this remaster a try.
