I always laugh when I see the reactions of people when I explain to them why beer is literally yeast piss. When you look at how it's made, the yeast eats the sugars that are in the mash, and from that they "produce" alcohol (as a waste product), which people then drink.

I especially love telling that to people just AS they're in the middle of chugging a bottle or two. Makes for a great comedic moment when one is bored. :anime:


Speaking of beer being piss...a bartender told me once:

Americans drink weak pissy-tasting beer.
Canadian drink strong pissy-tasting beer.
Brits/Irish drink strong beer-y-tasting piss.
Aussies drink a mixture of alcohol and piss.
