Transformers: Kiss Players?

Low sales is most likelythe cause. If the movie was the cause, the line would have been delayed (like what's going on with the Classics Line).

Well, if they had actually put more time and effort into the Alternator/Binaltech line, there would of been more sales. I owned just about every Alternator out in the market except for the Jag version of Ravage and Rumble/Frenzy.

Alts and the 6" Titaniums weren't selling too well. It had nothing to do with Hasbro. Stores just stopped taking them. Hasbro still wanted to do a collectors line, so they decided to bring back Classics. This time though, they're going to be under the Universe name.

They mentioned there would be some repaints, but that most of the toys would be new molds. They even have a Galvatron planned that's not a Megatron repaint. So that's a plus.

According to Hasbro at Botcon, they invested over 2 million in Alternators and the 6 inch titanium and neither was justifying that cost. So both lines have been cancelled.

The last titaniums will be War Within Prowl and War Within Grimlock. They DO have prototypes for Arcee, Shockwave, War Within Bumblebee and others, no word yet on where those molds will eventually be put to use. My guess would be the Transformers Universe.

The next big wave of the Movie toys will come with something called "All-Spark" action, suggesting they will have new paint jobs and/or other gimmicks. This wave I believe includes Voyager Class Optimus Prime and Megatron.

Well they have so many different TF lines, it's confusing on what to buy. They definitely put too much faith in a small fandom of Transformers Toy collectors.

I think Habro has forgotten that sometimes you have to market a toy line with a cartoon series. Why should kids buy alternators when they dont have a reason to care about them.
